Tournament Limit Types – Circle Line Poker

So the previous post was about keeping cool and beat the heat in July at Freezeout tournaments which discussed the different types of tournaments offered at Circle Line Poker.

There are also three types of holdem limits as well.  Many tournaments are no limit tournaments.  This means there is no limit to the amount of money or chips that can be added to the pot.  Then there is pot limit – this means that a player can only raise the amount of the pot.  As the pot increases, the amount a player can added also increases.  Finally there is fixed limit.  In this type of tournament a player can only raise a fixed amount.  These limits also apply to ring games as well.

If you haven’t played a fixed limit or pot limit, why not give it a try!  So what is your favorite type of limit?
